The Beautiful Lines of the Old Vintage/Antique Sofas
are just so captivating to me.
The detail of the carved wood-darling feet-curvature..
They take so much time & are quite Pricey to do-half way through, I wonder why i ever take them on & sware I won't do another one.
After I Painted-Put a Finish on it-
I went with a Textured Linen-
For me I love the look of one solid cushion-
I used Vintage Tacking to trim it up-added some Coordinating Pillows.
And now that I'm done- I love -LOVE it-
Here it sits in Shoppe Front window.
The detail of the intricate wood work shows perfectly through the Beaten White paint.
And Now that this one is done-& sitting in window-
AND turned out just as I hoped.
I can't wait to work on next one:)
Please come over and do mine! I'm afraid to start! This turned out so well- how time consuming was it?

Lovely! I just bought a 50 yard bolt of unbleached cotton duck to reupholster my furniture. I hope I made the right choice in fabric! I'll be seeing a lot of it! LOL!
