New Adventure of Creativity & Opportunity!

Ok, so i have been such a bad blogger lately- Recently i had an opportunity to have my Very own little shop, and as exciting as it sounded i waivered a bit, the fear of the unkown, uncertainity, and the sole responsability (oh my) but then my husband & children reminded me of how much i live and breath to create, make & share what i love so much and how they would help my along- I jumped in so with many hours painting, adding molding and building a register area and figuring what to have available to customers, we officially opened today...
Here are a few pic's- the register my husband built for me, with nooks and crannies for my crafting while i work, the beautiful black window doors to welcome you in, some new stuff to carry for gift giving, my favorites the animal prints ( as you see i pull from blogging world),the sign we made- trying to be different from the others, but unique with the vintage inspiration..
Would Love to hear your thoughts, suggestions for me and my new adventure..

  2. Congratulations! You will do amazing. I love the sign it is darling. My advise is to rearrange a lot! Even if you don't bring in new items all the time if you move around what you have people tend to think it is new, they may not have noticed it before.

  6. I was looking for your shop during the antique faire last weekend, but for some reason I thought you were going to be upstairs by the Balcony Cafe. What shops are you close to? I would love to come take a look, since I live in EDH & tend to stop by the old Folsom at least once a month or more. Thx! :)

  7. Thank you so much for visiting my blog & zipper tutorial. If you were following a pattern for the dress, I can tell you that I have tried to follow recent patterns for putting in zippers and have failed miserably. I end up ripping it out and doing it the "old-fashioned" way I was taught when I was 7! If my tutorial doesn't help you enough, please email me & I can try to answer your questions further personally. It drives me crazy that the pattern companies don't seem to know how to do these! I'm going to follow you and root for your next zipper try!
